Export Files

The Problem

basebox currently cannot directly create or export files (e.g., Word, Excel, or PDF). All results are output as text in the chat.

The Solution: Generate structured content and manually transfer to other programs.

How to Transfer Content

Basic principle:

1. Request structured output - Clear prompts for the desired format

2. Copy answer - Select and copy (Ctrl + C)

3. Paste into target program - Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Ctrl + V)

4. Adjust formatting - Edit if needed

Prompts for Different Programs

For Excel:

Prompt: "Create a table with clearly separated columns and headers"

Example output:

For PowerPoint:

Prompt: "Create a presentation structure with 8 slides and bullet points"

Example output:

For Word:

Prompt: "Format the content as a structured document with headings"

What Works Well

basebox can optimally prepare:

• ✅ Structured texts - With headings and paragraphs

What Is Currently Not Possible

• ❌ Direct file creation (.xlsx, .docx, .pdf)

• ❌ Automatic document download

• ❌ Formatting (bold, italic, colors)

• ❌ Insert images or graphics
  

Tips for Better Results

Give specific format instructions:

• "As a table with column headers"

• "With numbered lists"

• "In Markdown format"

• "With clear paragraphs"
  

For complex documents:

• Create content in sections

• Copy each section separately

• Combine in target program
  

⚠️ Important Note: basebox outputs all content as text. File creation is done manually via copy & paste into external programs.
